As part of our efforts to improve new releases of PCI Booking, we are now offering testing of new features and components prior to the full release scheduled for February 9th, 2020.
Version 9, the latest version of PCI Booking, has been installed and is being tested on our pilot environment, which is unrelated and separate from the production environment.
The new release is fully backward compatible, however, we invite you to test your system against our pilot environment in order to ensure that your configuration is working as expected.
The new version includes changes in the following areas:
- Card Over the Phone customisation enhancement
- Booker Portal – centralised location for customisation
- Gateway service stability enhancement
- System minor bug fixes
- Credit Card types detection improvement
The improvement for Credit Card types detection was introduced in the card capture form. We kindly advise your team to retest it.
Since the pilot environment is separate from the production one, you will need a new account in order to access the pilot system. Please contact our support and we will be happy to assist you in setting up a pilot account.
Once your account is set up, all you will need to do in order to use the pilot system is to simply provide the API key for this new account and change the URL for PCI Booking to be https://service-pilot.pcibooking.net/…
The official release note will be provided to you no later than one week before the release date.
If you have any comments, questions or concerns or if you find any issues with this new release, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.
